Boarding & Daily Routine

Currently we can only accommodate guinea pigs, however we are working on our accomodation for other small animals such as rabbits.

Accommodation

Your guinea pigs will be very comfortable in the accommodation that we will provide for them. Alternatively if you feel that your guinea pigs would be more comfortable in their own hutch you can let us know and we will make space for them.

Feed

We have the 'Burgess Excel Tasty Nuggets Guinea Pig Food' available for your guinea pigs, however it is important not to change your guinea pig's diet dramatically, so if your guinea pig has a different feed please bring it so that your guinea pig doesnt get ill.

We will provide fresh food daily for your guinea pigs. Fresh food is important for their diet as this is where they get a lot of their vitamins. The sorts of fresh food your guinea pigs can expect are; carrots, leafy greens, fruits, and salad vegetables (excluding iceburg lettice as this is very bad for your guinea pigs).

Dust free hay will be available for your guinea pigs 24 hours a day. Guinea pigs get their fibre from hay. This fibre keeps the gut moving to allow healthy digestion in your guinea pig.

Handling

We know that it is important to handle guinea pigs, so we will be giving individual attention to each of your guinea pigs to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe in our care. However we also understand that you may feel uncomforable with us handling your pets so if this is the case please let us know and we will abide by your wishes.

Health Checks

Your guinea pig's health is of greatest importance to us. It is for this reason that with your permission we conduct daily health checks to ensure that your guinea pig is fit and healthy.

Updates

If you would like us to keep you updated on your guinea pig's stay we can provide updates on your chosen form of media (instagram, facebook, text, email, ect). This helps give you peace of mind in the knowledge that your guinea pig is having a great time.
